Brief of Blue Lotus
In Hangzhou, there are two Blue Lotus Restaurants: Longjing Branch and Grand Canal Branch. Founded in October, 2009, Longjing Branch is the first one. Located in West Lake Scenic Area and confronted with a tea plantation, Longjing Branch of Blue Lotus is a garden-style fashion restaurant and features the characteristics of Southeastern Asia.
With an area of 2,000 square meters, it has a main building and a big yurt which has stoves right beside each table. Far beyond ornaments, these stoves can actually bring you warmth in chilly winter. The main building has two floors: barbecue available on the first floor and private rooms on the second floor. Their specialty, Blue Lotus Meat with Tea (蓝莲茶香肉), is prepared out of streaky bacon and tea leaves, and it’s usually served with steamed bread.
