Light Show at Gaoting Hill

Gaoting Hill scenic area, with a total area of 5.1 square kilometers, is located at the northeast of Hangzhou, about 18 kilometers away from the city center. Gaoting Hill has many cultural relics as well as a profound cultural heritage. The "peach culture" of Gaoting Hill is the most distinctive. Since the Song Dynasty, there has been a tradition of peach blossom appreciation, and now Gaoting Hill is the renowned place for appreciating peach blossom in Hangzhou.

Recently, the natural scenery of Gaoting Hill and the modern light show have merged together, to create a spectrum of beauty. Thousands of lights make up a glitzy, colorful and dreamlike world. There are light works that promote local history and culture, and modern themed works such as Thomas the Tank Engine, dinosaurs, starry sky, ocean, and so on. The flickering lights are as charming as fireflies illuminating every inch of the path.

A "love corridor" made up of heart-shaped lights is a favorite for those who love to take selfies. Whether friendship, romance or kinship, love is what the world needs. Walking through the "love corridor" you instantly feel the love.

Walking in the "time tunnel" of Gaoting Hill is like entering the secret passage of Alice in Wonderland, as well as the rainbow bridge in the movie Thor. At the end of the light tunnel, is like a dream come true.
