There are nearly fifteen or sixteen ancient buildings of more than one hundred years old in the campus, including the main building, library, Upper Red Building, Lower Red Building, Bell Tower, Second Building and so on. Strolling through the arched doorways and carved pillars you won’t be able to stop snapping happily away.

Xiangshan Campus, China Academy of Art

China Academy of Art may not be the most beautiful campus in China, but it is the most distinctive. The buildings of the first phase have a row of windows of Huizhou style and a special patterned courtyard which is filled with bamboo and fences made of moso bamboo. Compared to the first phase, the buildings of the second phase are characterized with an industrial style. Despite the lack of decorations and the simple concrete walls, the whole building gives a feeling of indifference.
