Brief of HeTeahouse, Huimin Branch
“He” means “harmony” and refers to Taoist concept that everything in the universe should be in balance. The name of this tea house mirrors Panyi, the owner’s motto and her company’s mission: to preserve and promote ancient Chinese culture in a unique way.
Everything inside this tea house looks authentic actually is. The owner did a painstaking job to collect them from all corners of China. For instance, the structure of the table that you are sitting at was originally an intricately designed headboard from a Qing dynasty bed, and that beautiful piece of framed cloth hanging on the wall served as an aristocrat’s pillowcase hundreds of years ago. Among them, the oldest piece date back to 2000 BC.
Besides the perfect environment for enjoying China’s national drink, you can enjoy the widest selections of tea leaves from their native plantations, such as Dragon Well Tea native to Hangzhou and Da Hong Pao unique to Fujian. What is more fantastic is that the price of your tea includes unlimited access to a buffet of cold and hot snacks and dishes that can easily double as lunch or dinner. All you need to do is pick a seat, sit down, relax, and enjoy.
