Brief of Daisy Café
Pleasant and homely with its warm, low, lighting, wooden bookcases brimming over with journals, magazines, and well-worn books; this café can easily entice any wandering foreigner to stick around. There’s extra space upstairs if you want more privacy, or a chance to sprawl out on a soft sofa as well. Open up the curtains to glimpse a view of the canal across the way, and sit back and relax. And make sure to say hello to the owners’ cats, Happy and Mouse while you’re curled up. They’re quite friendly and eager to visit kind patrons.
Espresso-based coffee, known as “fancy coffee” (38RMB) is a highlight. Other good stuff includes a tiramisu latte, caramel macchiato, and chocolate latte. Other options include specialty coffee such as Kenyan, Blue Mountain and Northern Sky. An assortment of teas, juices, cocktails, and snacks are also offered (20-80RMB).
The Daisy is open from 11am-12am every day (excluding holidays), and offers free Wi-Fi, a variety of games, and it has movie nights on Tuesdays that start at 7:30pm. An English menu is available as well.
